Before & After
Samuel Casey Coin Silver Cream Jug

This nice little cream jug was created circa 1750-60 by Samuel Casey of Rhode Island. I leveled one foot and welded the break, removed the major dents, and hand polished the piece inside and out.

In addition to a being a respected silversmith, Casey was a known counterfeiter. He was arrested and sentenced to hang for his misdeeds, but the night before he was to hang, townspeople freed him and Casey was never heard from again (or at least under that name!).
