S. Kirk & Son Sterling Lady's Comb

This beautiful hand-chased comb required its rotted filler replaced. The process: I removed the three retainer pins then filler, cleaned the interior of encrustation, shaped the new filler to fit the backing, cleaned and repatinated the silver then lightly polished to highlight the ornament. The filler was replaced with imitation tortoise shell and new sterling pins.
