Before & After
Chinese Export Silver

The teapot's finial required new sterling horns and tendrils to be created and attached in the likeness of those seen on the sugar bowl. Both elements were patinated and hand finished to blend with the rest of the finial.

The goblet, made by Luen Wo from Shanghi, was previously repaired with lead solder to reattach the cup to the stem, plus two leaves were missing. The stem was straightened, the solder removed, and two new sterling engraved leaves were made and welded in place and patinated. The stem was then reattached to the cup with sterling using pulse arc technology. All three pieces were gently cleaned by hand.
